The British Society for Clinical Psychophysiology (BSCP) was formed in
July 1999 as a Not for Profit professional & representational body for
psychotherapists who work within the new paradigm framework of
integrative-medicine and mind-body therapy (clinical
psycho-physiology)
BSCP is involved in accrediting training courses in
Clinical-Psychophysiology, Psycho-dynamic
Psychotherapy, and Clinical Hypnotherapy and maintains a voluntary register of individual
practitioners.
BSCP is included (with UKCP and BACP) by the Department of Health (DoH)
in the consultation process for Statutory Regulation of the profession
of Psychotherapy and the Psychological Therapies in the UK.
